The Pian di Gembro Nature Reserve is an oasis of calm a few minutes from Aprica. Easy itineraries enable visitors to plunge into the nature of this ancient moorland of glacial origin, where it is possible to observe very rare plant species such as a number of carnivorous plants. In addition to a themed itinerary with illustrative display cases on the formation and characteristics of the reserve, during the summer period a teaching space is set up from where you can observe some of the tiny inhabitants of this marshy zone (frogs, toads, newts and salamanders). Pian di Gembro offers colours and exciting experiences in every season. In the winter period, routes for those on snowshoes and cross-country skiers offer visitors enchanting landscapes, particularly after a good snowfall.
