In Teglio, winter opens its doors to ski mountaineering.
Setting off from the large parking area in Prato Valentino, take the marked path immersed in woodland that takes you in a quick ascent to Dos Laù. During the winter season, the route is covered in snow and magic, and the views of the landscape are also exciting.
From Dos Laù, you can reach the chairlift at an altitude of 2200m, to then continue towards the ski slopes.
For real enthusiasts, it is possible to climb up to Alpe Teglio, from where you can reach the ridge and arrive at the ski lifts, to then, in a final fast stretch, reach the peak of Monte Brione.
For more experienced skiers, on the other hand, there are more demanding itineraries to visit in Val Belviso, Val Bondone and Val Caronella, where Monte Torena, which reaches an altitude of 2911m ASL, is located. A perfect place for those who love ski mountaineering immersed in nature and being able to enjoy a fairytale landscape in complete tranquillity.
